Wholly Aromatic PolyimideMELDIN

Meldin® 7000 series, with the intermittent service temperature of 482℃, is wholly aromatic polyimide that excells in heat resistance and maintains superior mechanical strength in high and low temperatures.
Superior wear resistance, creep resistance and nonconductive properties also are the features of Meldin 7000 series.

Abrasion resistance

  • PV value of self-lubrication grade of Meldin exceeds 11Mpa,m/s under dry conditions.

Creeping properties

  • High load can be supported without softening at high temperature.
  • Dimensional variations remain within 0.04% in the test where the temperature changed from 22.77℃to 260℃ for 48 hours.
